For the past few years, the idea to start drawing the bodies that I found sensual, attractive, sexy, or just beautiful has been rummaging in the back of my thoughts. This drawing was the first of many erotic illustrations that I hope to finish.
This illustration is Conté on black paper and is 4.75" x 4.75".
For this project, the lesson that I learned is that I should not use fixative for this type of medium as I find Conté is severely muted after an application. Perhaps it's the stuff I used (Krylon Colormaster Crystal Clear Gloss Spray Acrylic). I find it works for many other types of medium but unfortunately not for Conté.
