I've been pestering local Greater Vancouver hip-hop artist Retro the Rift God (IG) for months now to let me do some visuals for the man. He finally relented and asked for some retrowave artwork last week. Planning the project had me nervous as the style is not something I'm very experienced with. This project took me about 6 hours of researching and looking at different software approaches to get a look that we were both quite happy with.
I really enjoy collaborating with local recording artists as talented as Retro and I'm really excited to see this man's career take off.
